Summary

The protagonist, SpongeBob, wakes up from his sleep in the morning accompanied by his pet snail, Gary. SpongeBob woke early in the morning because he needed to head to the popular food stand, the Krusty Krab to apply for a job. After leaving home, SpongeBob begins to become nervous about applying. But Patrick Star comes in and encourages him to move on. SpongeBob re-gains is bravery and heads to the Krusty Krab. Upon arrival, neighbor and cashier Squidward Tentacles became alarmed. Mr Krabs comes in and talks to SpongeBob. He underestimates SpongeBob and does not accept SpongeBob as a worthy fry cook. But the two make a deal, Mr. Krabs told SpongeBob if he could get a spatula with Hydro Dynamics, special attachments, and turbo drive, SpongeBob would get the job. Mr. Krabs and Squidward think that a spatula like that doesn't exist.

While SpongeBob is out shopping, the Krusty Krab is invaded by hundreds of hungry anchovies. Surprisingly SpongeBob comes back with a the special spatula that Mr. Krabs wanted. (Ironically there was only one in stock.)
